Note, the following details apply to this product and its delivery.
We send a tracking number for all deliveries by email, it will take 1-3 business days to get your tracking email generally.
If delivery is by Mainfreight, they will call to arrange a weekday delivery with you. A working phone number is essential and please check your messages if you have a missed call.
Someone will need to be present on the day to sign for the goods and potentially assist the driver. Generally, deliveries will be next to the truck, so wherever the truck has access to is where your item will be dropped off. The driver generally cannot move items into backyards or your home due to OHS regulations. If the truck cannot get into the driveway (no driveway, too narrow, too steep), the only option may be to unload on the nature strip.
If your delivery included polystyrene, cardboard, pallet etc, it is the customers responsibility to dispose of these. This also applies to damaged parts, if, on the rare occasion, we need to send a replacement part we do not retrieve the damaged one.
If an item arrives with damaged parts (rare but it can happen in transit sometimes) replacement parts will be sent, not a brand new item.
Returns, yes we do offer returns, the return postage is paid for by the customer, we also have the right to claim the cost of freight that we incurred to send the item to you. If returning an item because of a damaged part, the cost to return the item would be paid for by the customer, as outlined under consumer law, opting not to accept a replacement part to fix a damaged product means the consumer covers return freight costs if they want to return and refund. Goods must be received in their original packaging and fit for resale.

separator The sidemate shed is about what I expected. The quality is on par with this type of shed. Assembly took about 4 hours without any difficulty. Overall I am pleased with the shed and plan on ordering another one.

The shed was perfect for what we were looking for. Everything was as stated and assembly instructions were very easy to follow.

It went together just like the instructions said it would and took me (by myself) about 6 hours (with a few breaks) to complete. I thought the assembly was very straightforward and had no issues. I love this shed and it has helped me to meet all my yard and garden storage needs.

Pretty straight forward directions to put the shed together. As a Diy project, it took me two days about 6 hrs a day to finish the job. You do have buy a piece of plywood for flooring or concrete your own flooring.

The shed went up easily as the instructions were straight forward. It seems quite sturdy and likely to last much longer than our previous rusting sheet metal shed.

This is the second Side Mate shed I have purchased. I hated leaving the first one when moving. The shed is not very difficult to build but does take some time. Also, it is worth taking the time to put a proper foundation under it, I used crush stone and pavers. I would recommend the shed as it blends in well with the siding on my house, is sturdy and holds a lot. Shipping was easy, and the shipper was easy to work with and arranged delivery ahead of time. This was another good experience for me and another quality shed.

The shed arrived a few days after purchase. We had to build a base first as I am renting. My son built the shed in one day.. it is very light but seems quite sturdy when finished. A lovely colour and good size for the garden tools, mower etc. There are two instruction books, these are for different directions for left or right door. Good idea to have them in different books. My other son was also impressed and wants to get one too. I highly recommend dealing with Landera. The customer service is exceptional. Reply by email within the hour. I am very impressed with their service.
Thank you very much, one happy customer indeed.

Whilst you need to be methodical, it is relative straight forward. I assembled it on my own in approx 5 hours though with hindsight an additional hand would have been an advantage. All material is light and very easy to carry and assemble. The finished product is exactly as described. Though I missed the fact it didn’t come with a floor. I rectified that with marine ply sheeting and then a layer of artificial turf.

I am just an average person with average skills and knowledge on using tools. I have never assembled a shed before and this project took me about 6 hours to complete by myself. Assembly will be much quicker and easier if you can obtain additional help
Tip #1. Before staring the assembly, organize the pieces . There are many pieces to this kit and organizing and being familiar with the pieces will help . Have painters tape and a marker to help mark some of the parts.
Tip#2. Instructions for assembly consist of a booklet with step by step illustrations. Be patient and match parts exactly as shown in the illustrations. Check and double check part numbers which will be on an attached tape or stamped into the part itself.
Tip #3. A cordless drill / driver is a must and will make assembly a lot easier. Be sure to have at least two fully charged batteries as there are a lot of screws to drive.
Tip#4. All screws are Philips head so be sure you have good, proper sized Philips head drivers and screw drivers.
Tip #5. Whether you are assembling by yourself or with others, have ladders, saw horses or similar items to help assist with propping up the walls during assembly. The walls tend to be quite weak and wobbly during the initial stages of assembly due to lack of frame support. Without support, the walls will bend over and possibly cause damage to the frame. Windy weather also amplify this condition. This project was very satisfying when completed. The shed is beautiful, functional and well worth the money.

Like others I would suggest preparation is the key. I took the carton it cam in which was large but only 100mm high, and I laid out every piece in alpha numeric order. on the cardboard. ONE major tip, when you finish building the base, ensure you have a set square and check the corners are at 90 degrees. If you do not do this, holes for screws and the roof holes and fittings don’t line up.
The only issue I had was the door hinge which saw the the door edge poking out and we tried all combinations without fixing it. I just bought two different type hinges and all was well.
Needs two people to do the walls.
But I am happy with it.
