The WATERCO REPLACEMENT CERAMIC CARTRIDGE is the genuine premium quality replacement cartridge for the Waterco Gravity Stoneware Filter. It can also be used with other brands of countertop purifiers such as Atlantis, Stefani, Australis and Vitali. Manufactured with an outer microporous ceramic shell with rating of approximately 0.5 micron and an internal core of activated carbon, the WATERCO CARTRIDGE consistently delivers excellent water quality.
WATERCO CARTRIDGES are designed to deal with not only suspended solids such as dirt, rust and algae that are present in town water supplies, especially in areas where the pipe infrastructure is older, but also chemicals such as chlorine, hydrogen sulphide and organic pesticides such as lindane – and this allows you to enjoy water at its best. The cartridges will also greatly reduce levels of bacteria and cysts such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
WATERCO recommends that the cartridges are cleaned regularly – this is a simple process of scraping the external surface under running water – and that they are replaced at 4 month intervals.
